Travel Highlights
Today we set our biggest “and last” most miles for the day record. We finally hit some photo worthy territory the last hour of the day when we landed in the Bad Lands, see pictures. Haley stuck it out well and my forehead got sunburned. When we found a place to stay we learned that a 22 year old crashed his bike across the street an hour earlier and died today. Very sad. It has been fun to see the volume of bikes on the road coming and going to Sturgis. Today we must have passed over a thousand bikes and joined various convoys as we traveled. This year’s event is said to have almost 600,000 bikes.
