| We headed
for Cape Cod and hit the furthest point east in our journey, Province
Town. A very cool town where a car can barely get up the narrow one
way street and it is so packed with people it should be pedestrian
only. The town was great but I quickly discovered that I am way too
heterosexual for this little touch of San Francisco. Except for the
families it appeared to be mostly gay men and women and the occasional
heshe import from the bay area. At the end of the point of Cape Cod
we hit the 50% make in our journey. As we rode away from there we
officially began our journey home. The beaches were way cool and you
could walk out into the water for blocks and only be knee deep. I
got a business call as soon as we arrived at the hotel so we walked
out to the water so Haley could play while I paced and talked. We
went out a long sand bar created by the low tide and I talked for
about a half an hour or so. Suddenly I heard Haley say –oh my
gosh, high tide. As I turned I realized that the water had crept in
and what was once a long sand bar was now an island and we had to
roll up our pants and get back to the main land as soon as possible. |
